Bahadurgarh does not have a very complicated history. In fact it has a small archive because it is a relatively new city. The city consists of two parts. The first is filled with Punjabis who settled here after the Muslims evacuated the region after independence. The second part is Mohalla Jattwadda region which is filled with the original inhabitants, Rathi gotra Jats.
The region was inhabited about 800 years ago. The region was a deserted forest at the time. Bahadurgarh fell under the battlefield area of the battle between Gori and Prithviraj. Delhi was the worst affected area. Most of the villages, including Bahadurgarh, were deserted. After Gori won the war and established his rule in Delhi, Bahadurgarh began to be inhabited again.
